Preliminary Cooperation Agreements for the Branobel History Project
Preliminary Cooperation Agreements for the Branobel History Project are signed in Georgia with two new partners in March 2011.
In conjunction with a Centre for Business History visit to Georgia, agreements were formalised with the National Archives of Georgia, in Tbilisi, and with the Nobel Brothers Technological Museum, in Batumi. The purpose is that Georgian archive material on Branobel be incorporated into the Branobel History Digital Database. Georgia has a lot of interesting historical documents regarding Branobel, and especially the transport infrastructure for oil products between the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea, which sucessfully conveyed Baku oil products to western markets.
